Desperate customers looking to own an RTX 3000 graphics card might want to keep tabs on GameStop. The video game retailer is starting to sell PC hardware, including GPUs and laptops.
In a Tuesday earnings call, GameStop CEO George Sherman said the company will expand its product catalog. “This includes growing our product offerings across PC gaming, computers, monitors, game tables, mobile gaming, and gaming TVs to name only a few,” he said.
The company also produced a new weekly ad that shows GameStop plans on selling RTX 3000 graphics cards, motherboards, power supplies, and PC desktop cases.
The product listings for the various RTX 3000 cards can already be found by searching GameStop’s website. However, every listing currently says the cards are “not available.” A few other listings say the products won’t arrive until April 16.

A big question is whether the sales for the RTX 3000 graphics will occur only online or via physical GameStop stores. Many PC gamers are hoping it’ll be the latter, which will make it harder for bots and online scalpers to buy up the inventory.

However, during Tuesday’s earning call, Sherman said his company is trying to invest more in e-commerce as a way to reach consumers. “Global e-commerce sales increased 175% and represented 34% of total sales in the fourth quarter versus 12% of net sales in the prior year period,” he said.
The focus on expanding into PC hardware sales also comes as GameStop reported disappointing fourth quarter results. The company’s net sales in the period reached $2.12 billion, down from $2.19 billion a year ago, despite the recent launch of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
